Taking Back the Narrative (www.tbtnisrael.com), a Zionism education initiative, is looking to hire a motivated Social Media Intern who is eager to be part of a growing company that is combating antisemitism. Anti-Zionism is at the root of today's antisemitism. We are a fast-paced initiative; programming includes: Zionism education classes, education-based talks to Jewish groups, podcast, book club, weekly newsletter. Our social media goal is to create engaging content across multiple platforms, and to thoughtfully navigate the video space.

The position is a terrific opportunity for a highly motivated college or graduate student to gain experience in digital media, content creation, digital marketing, and communication.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Social media creation & management – Coordinate with the CEO & Executive Director to curate, create and deliver social media content to key audiences across various channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

Owned content generation – Support an integrated digital approach and create compelling content to drive engagement and traffic on social media channels and to the podcast - includes creating a social media planned content calendar.

Communications analytics and insights – Create and present social media analytics & insights data, using technology and analytics to drive recommendations that improve social media presence.

Qualifications:

Experience in social media communications and marketing, with knowledge and understanding of the changing social media landscape preferred.

Knowledge of content planning, publishing, online monitoring and reporting preferred.

Excellent writing, communications and presentation skills, with the ability to create content for a variety of channels required.

Ability to manage projects, with supervision.

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to self-start, think critically and solve problems creatively.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Familiarity with social media management tools, including native platforms (such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram). Knowledge of creating reels required.

Familiarity with making videos for social media

Comfortability initiating new ideas

Experience using Canva preferred, or willing to learn.

Internship is from January 2024 - May 2024.

$2,500 stipend to be paid at the conclusion of the internship.
